Welcome to the Llanrwst Canoe Club website

About the Club

The club was formed in 2003 with the aim of providing people of all ages and abilities in the Llanrwst area, with the opportunity to sample and/or develop canoe and/or kayak skills and have some fun in the process.

The club currently has approx. 35 members with about half of these being juniors, i.e. under 18. The club owns an impressive array of boats and kit thanks to various grants and donations.

The club aims to promote all aspects of paddle sport and we currently have members regularly taking part in:

  • Flat water kayaking
  • White water kayaking
  • Open (Canadian) canoeing
  • Sea kayaking
